Arapahoe's literary/arts magazine, the MUSE, is amazed every year at the talent housed within our walls: artists, poets, and writers (just see the picture above!). We hope you will join us twice a month (on the first and third Wednesdays) as we plan the layout and theme of this year's magazine. Our next full club meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 3rd in room C17. Let's start at 2:30 and end at 3:15. We hope you can come. If you can't, please see Mrs. Davis (LA), Ms. Gaffney (LA), Ms. Hitchens (Art), or Mr. Miles (LA) for information.

THANK YOU to everyone who stood up at the meeting on Sept. 5th and presented their reasons for wanting to help lead the magazine this year.  We had a tremendous conglomeration of talent, which  must have made it difficult to vote!  We value ALL of you, and need your talents and skills, even if you did not get elected to a particular leadership position. We have decided to "double up" on several board editor positions this year to make the fiction and poetry selection process more collaborative.

Art: To submit artwork, talk to Mrs. Hitchens in the art department.

Fiction or Essays: Carefully email your story or essay to lgaffney@lps.k12.co.us using the following steps: 1. send the story or essay as an attachment, NOT pasted into the body of the email message. 2. make sure your name does NOT appear on the story itself, or in the subject line of the email  3. make sure your name DOES appear in the body of the email  4. type the title of your piece, or the first 5 words into the subject line of the email
