The major fundraising activity for the band program is bingo. ABB hosts a bingo session every Sunday evening at B-1 Bingo. Each section of the band is assigned dates throughout the year for which they are responsible for providing student and parent workers, approximately once every five weeks. All students and parents are needed to work their assigned bingo sessions. Marching band and color guard need to work ten bingo sessions; concert only and jazz rhythm should work eight bingo sessions. We particularly need help from concert only families during the months of September and October during marching band competition season.

Scrip is simply a word that means, "substitute money" - in other words; Scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers. They're the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in the scrip program including Albertson's, Safeway, JCPenney, Gap, Starbucks, Blockbuster, Chili's, United Artist Theaters, Shell Gas and many, many others. Use Scrip to put your regular spending dollars to work and raise money for your student's share account.
The Scrip Program is offering a new convenient way for families to get their orders in for Scrip. You can do it yourself. All you have to do is go to www.shopwithscrip.com and register. Click here for more information and the ABB enrollment code.
Another option is to print a Scrip Order Form  , fill it out and submit the form with a check or money order for the dollar value of the certificates.
You will receive a gift certificate for the same dollar amount that can be used at the retailer you selected. A percentage of the certificate's value will be deposited directly into your student's share account. The percentages vary depending on the retailer and are included on both the Shop with Scrip website and the Scrip Order Form.

King Soopers, Sunflower Market, and Tony's Market gift cards are available to purchase through the band, with 5% of your purchase price going into your student’s share account. Use your share account to pay for band fees, trip fees, uniform costs, private lessons, or apply toward college if you're a senior. Sell certificates to your family, friends, and neighbors and earn even more!
King Soopers gift cards are available in $25, $50, and $100 denominations. Sunflower Market gift cards are $50 each. Tony’s Market paper grocery certificates are $10 each.
Safeway and Albertsons gift cards are available through the scrip program listed above (with 4% of your purchase price going into your share account).
The Band is also participating in the Albertsons Community Partners Program. Every time you shop at Albertsons, be sure to scan your Community Partners Key Tag at checkout and the band will receive 1% of your total purchase! You can even scan your Key Tag and still pay with your Albertsons scrip. Give our Albertsons Key Tags to anyone you know who shops at Albertsons and we will receive 1% of their purchases also. (Although this program does not allow monies to go to your share account, it does benefit the entire band program!)

Once in the fall and once in the spring Arapahoe band students will be selling Butter Braids. This is a valuable fundraiser which benefits individual students as well as the band. The cost of each Butter Braid is $9.00, and $4.50 per each sold is deposited in student's individual accounts. Order forms containing information about the product are sent home with the student.

Enjoy Romano’s delicious dining or take-out and help raise funds for our band!! On the first Tuesday of each month, (except December), from 4pm until closing, Romano’s will donate 20% of your check to the Arapahoe Band Boosters. Please visit the Romano’s in Highlands Ranch at 32 W. Springer Drive. Coupons are available on the table in the band room and on this web page.
You MUST have a coupon to have the funds donated to Arapahoe Band.
The Province Car Wash, located at 8804 South Colorado Boulevard (east side of the street, one-half mile south of County Line Road), has agreed to assist the Arapahoe High School Band Program in their fund-raising efforts. AHS will receive $1.00 for every wash that is processed through their automatic bays (must be an $8.00 or $9.00 wash, and does not apply to the self serve wash bays).
When you pull up to the automatic bays, simply punch in the code “43210” before choosing a type of wash and paying (by cash or credit). At the end of each month, the band will receive a check for all the qualified washes. Each little bit helps our spectacular band program!!!
This number can be given to anyone, so please help us pass the word. Also, remember that car washes consume less water than doing it at home, so you’re being environmentally conscious, as well!
